Wait, didn't we try this, like, a few months ago and fail miserably?

ELPBSS,

Hi! I am enjoying the ELP here - as well as The Nice and ELPowell. And I agree with you, it is nice to talk with other ELP fans. My kids have grown up with ELP and so don't think too much is wrong, but most people I know have not heard of them or only know "Lucky Man".

Have you been a member long? I just joined recently and have been having a blast, plus hearing a lot of ProgRock I had never heard before. I have found that I really like "Mathematicans", as well as rediscovering old familiar artists, like focus (esp. Hamburger Concerto), Jean-Michel Jarre, Tomita, etc.

Again, thanks for the reply!! What is your favorite ELP song? (I will have to think a while before I can choose this for myself!!)

Regards,
Ted

...or Karn Evil #9, first impression, part Two.

It absolutely blew me away the first time I heard the entire piece...and royally peeved me that the BEST part of the song had been sliced for the expedience of FM (and AM) Commercial Radio.

It's a shame that most people have a three minute attention span. They're missing a LOT of good music.
