not canary isles...

... a vocalist might find this question easier to answer than someone who declared that they were not terribly interested in lyrics...

Malaga? from Malaga Virgen, Brand X song on Moroccan Roll...

or India, due to the Sanskrit lyrics.

Jim, taking the shotgun approach again....

jello (or, in the case of a GB contest, UK jelly)

I'm saving the jello/jelly in the case that KW catches up..

although ... on reflection .. wet-suits & custard has a certain appeal ....

for the well-read guessers

The key here is "breaking a stick in sand". It is obviously a reference I do not understand (as evidenced by my whopping performance on this quiz ).

Jello intermission is now over

could it be Tangier? from Sartori in Tangier? I know Rick guessed that, but it was for a different question. Sartori could mean "broken stick in sand" for all I know...

#5 .... a hint...

OK...

(a) it is in europe.. (you'd all got that)

(b) the band is european ...

(c) in my opinion (although I might be shot down in flames for this) this track is out of the band's usual style [the shooters might argue there is no such thing as the band's usual style]

(d) ... so you need to settle down and 'gather your far-flung thoughts together' and have another go ..

#11 We have quaffed our beer at the boss's and our eyes turn towards the land of Crimson, Camel and co... however we get distracted - we heard "sun in the night" earlier ... and decide that such a sight would be worth a look ...

Land of the midnight sun - Al Dimeola is all I can think of without the playlist to help me out.

If it's not Malaga, you need to break apart his clues.

Jam is much more sophisticated than we are!
