wait!

That would degrade the sound quality. Reripping is probably a better solution, unless AcidPro4 doesn't have to decompress and recompress.

Hmnmm, that's correct, but I don't think it'll mess up the quality very much. They way I make BrainRock is ripping the song at 192k and then opening it in Acid, putting it all together, then rendering it as a single 2-hour mp3 at 192k. I think it sounds fine when it play on AM. But I'm not an expert on technology. Jim and Avian and Roger.Lee have to make that call. Just offering.

OK, I've re-ripped the Discipline and Sonus Umbra, and have uploaded them. Roger will likely get to them later today or tomorrow...

since you asked...
in the "pro" wrestling (read:fake), a turnbuckle is the piece in each of the four corners of the ring (like how they call a 4 sided-object a ring) that holds the ropes together.
George "The Animal" Steele, was a very strange person, who was very hairy and would come out with a green tongue and chew on the turnbuckle. He's actually an English professor and has a PHD, but in wrestling circles he professed not to speak. Interesting? Maybe not....but I thought I'd let you know. ![]() |

That one left me puzzled as well. They do it in boxing, too. Maybe it has something to do with too many blows to the head. Actually, when I was working at Turner, they also owned a competing organization that went up against WWF or whoever the big cheeze (heh) in that entertainment venue happens to be. I got to see some of the scripts they used. Yes, they're all pre-scripted. I know this will come as a terrible disappointment to everyone. But it also explains why you never see sports books in Vegas offering wagers on pro wrasslin'. Quote:
OK, cheap shot. Sorry. What really surprised me about those guys, though, is: a) most of the wrestlers themselves are quite intelligent. b) most of them are incredibly flexible (especially considering the bulk they have to carry). c) outside the rink, to a person, they're very congenial. Quote:

C'mon you Dudley's.........
I used to watch WWF (WWE), WCW etc. religiously.
It was obviousley staged and scripted but you HAD to marvel at the athleticism of those guys (and gals) in the way they'd throw themselves around. I got fed up with it when the off stage scenarios meant more than the wrestling. D'Von.........................get the table!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMFAO! Great fun. |

Totally not prog related, but when I was younger, I had a NSMC on Bret "The Hitman" Hart. The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be. Dag-yo.
