I'm halfway there.

Is "snaps" some piece of Brit-slang? I don't know where to start with that one...

Sorry Jim, I guess I could reword the question as:

Creepy polaroids...................does that help any?

"snaps" is obvious, now that I know what it is.

here we go:
1. Photos of Ghosts (PFM)
2. Grace Under Pressure (Rush)
3. Nursery Cryme (Genesis)
4. Fragile (Yes)
5. Hamburger Concerto (Focus)
6. Mirage (Camel) or Animation (Jon Anderson)
7. In Search Of The Lost Chord (Moody Blues)
8. Oops! Wrong Planet (Utopia)
9. Aqualung (Jethro Tull)
10. Don't Panic (Kalaban)

close?

Take it away Jim.

I was thinking of Crisis? What Crisis? for 10) but as ever you're superior knowledge has won through again.

Well done. I thought they might take a little longer than that to sort out.

Over to you my friend.

How about we give Avian another shot - your question, boss.

I'll come up with one in two days if you're not playing anymore...

Okay, okay... I gotta read the forum more often... here goes. I'm terrible at making up prog trivia. I don't know the answer to this one, but I'm throwing this out to see if anyone can do it.

Link the Monkees to Rush

Very tenuous but........

Mike Nesmith and Geddy Lee both use rickenbacker guitars.

Davy Jones so popular that another Davy Jones was forced to adopt the stage name David Bowie.

David Bowie played with Brian Eno and Tony Levin

Tony Levin was on the Yes album Union

An essay in the new Yes boxed set IN A WORD (as did Geddy Lee, but I'm going yard) was written by Jon Fishman

Jon Fishman is in Phish with Trey Anastasio

Trey Anastasio is in Oysterhead with Les Claypool

Les Claypool played on Alex Lifeson's solo album, VICTOR

the big stretch

Wow. That has got to be the most elastic stretch I have ever heard. You might as well have said that Mike Nesmith's mother invented liquid paper (or was it post-its?), and Neil Peart had a lot of revisions in his lyrics, and so on......

Thumbs up

I don't know - Yesspaz's answer might have been a stretch, but WHAT a stretch! It's Avian's decision, but I'd be inclined to give it to him on tenacity alone...

Rush performed a song called "The Trees"
Monkeys hang out in trees.
Monkees is a homonym for Monkeys.

homonyms... okay, we're getting desperate now!

Hey, I can link myself to the Monkees!

----

Monkees member Mike Nesmith wrote the hit "Some of Shelly's Blues" for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band member John McEuen has a son named Aaron.

I work with and am friends with Aaron McEuen!

---

Actually, Mike Nesmith is the key in making this work...

----

Monkees member Mike Nesmith wrote the hit "Some of Shelly's Blues" for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band member Jackson Browne sang on the soundtrack of the Sean Penn's 2002 movie "I Am Sam" with Aimee Mann.

Aimee Mann sang on Rush's "Hold Your Fire"

This one's too easy...

This one's too easy, but it's all I can think of...

What modern rock band covered "Moonchild" by King Crimson on thier second album? HINT: It's not named " Moonchild." They incorporated it into a different song.

I've got a sneaking suspicion that Orchid Garden covered Moonchild at some point.

Whether or not it's the one you're looking for Yesspaz I don't know.

You're driving me crazy Spaz!!!!

I'm supposed to be working but can't get this question out of my head.

The only reference I can come up with is "Blue Man Group" and that's only because I remember you mentioning them way back in another thread.

Well??????
