Re: lights out

The story behind this is yesterday's power outages here. I was holding a flashlight (a torch for you Brits) in my mouth so that I could see to type. Mailotron said that was something he'd like to see, so I snapped a quick photo using the Mac's camera and PhotoBooth.

FWIW, save for a brief reboot to move some power cabling, the Aural Moon web site stayed on-line thanks to the UPSs and their batteries. The power cycled here several times and it was out for a total of about 3.5 hours. The cause, reportedly, was some auto accident. However, the power went out again this morning for a brief 10 minutes at about 7:30. I'm not certain if that was related to yesterday's problems.

I didn't realize you were related to Uncle Festis Adams. Must be the hair that threw me.

Re: lights out

Well, I am!

Just ate McNausea because there's nothing open with food here in Montreal after midnight.

M to the rescue! I couldn't figure it out but she did. It's part of a small plastic clamp that's being used to hold a wire out of the way above my MacBook Pro.
