Transatlantic in Cologne March 8, 2014

Transatlantic choose this time the E-Werk in Cologne, an old industrial building, for their venue (http://www.e-werk-cologne.com/). It was sold out (aprox. 2.000 ppl). We already were advised as getting in, that they were going to film the event that evening. Maybe this gig it will be published as DVD later on.

We were 7:15 pm in the hall, the venue was scheduled to start at 8:00 pl. Unfortunately it begun only at 8:30 (It is hard for old men like me to stay in a crowd (of other old people) for more than 3 hours ..)

Setlist (more or less):
  • Into the Blue
  • My new World
  • Black as the Sky
  • Whirwind
  • Behind the sun
  • Kaleidoskope
  • We All need some light
  • All of the above

There was no break, so we had 2:30 min of finest music including some nice light effects and multimedia on a hugh video screen in the back. Mike Portnoy was conducting the crowd, all were having fun. All in all a great evening.
The light at the end of the tunnel is the light of an oncomming train......
