The story of how I met Sean is in the other thread...I tried to find Jim to introduce him but he's as slippery as an eel....

That's Jeff Laramee, drummer and sometime singer for Sonus Umbra and Kurgan's Bane. Along with Luis Nasser, there's two that will give BTO a run for their money.

I showed up at a Bane show two months back wearing a shirt with the same pic as the tattoo (totally coincidental). Quite funny.....

Re: Moonies Meeting Moonies

Nadina, great pics! Rick, great pics on the Nearfest thread!

Thought it was funny that Nadina was standing next to a sign that said "black box" in one of Rick's shots.

Also, Jim switched t-shirts with his brother...that caused a few secs of confusion (doesn't take much)

This has to be the largest moonie presence ever. With the arrival next year of the European contingent, complete debauchery will ensue and as this sort of thing is up my alley, I'm going to put getting there at the top of my list.

Now....poda.....what say you to the trip.

As an aside, and I know everyones very busy so I don't want to create "work", but how's about a picture gallery for Moonies Meeting Moonies, in conjunction with our already existing gallery.

A great idea...

We'll have to incorporate that into the new web site.

Re: Moonies Meeting Moonies

Great pictures all! Improved by the fact that I'm not in most of them, I'm sure. Rick had to take that one and ruin the story I was going to make up that says I was there "in spirit only." Oh wait, Davin has another picture of me with a rather happy cookie. Maybe he won't post that one.

Wait, looking again, Rick's pic of me doesn't have any proof in it that it was actually taken at the fest. It could have been anywhere. Yeah that's it. I can still post that story!

Ya know, we do have a gallery here, and it wouldn't take too much in the way of bribery to get ol' Dr. Dot to create one for y'all...

ID:	184 I just had a wonderfull time enjoying an evening of Nadinas company. Between Nearfest and Cal-prog she has been in the Northeast and yesterday she visited little old me. After dinner, With tales of Bands, Emo, the Moon and all things Prog, we enjoyed a Teaparty spread out by my wife in my home and My New dog Molly did not knock her over.I tried not to with my Sound System.
I cannot express the deep warmth I feel for this Moonsoul as I try to Heal and be Cheery. For her to bend her trip to include this visit so inspires me in the Human spirit and my next steps......Thank You again Nadina for that Awesome nite!
