Well, he doesn't look dutch either. He looks like more of a wanker! Oh, wait he is a wanker.

Here are some other non-Dutch looking Rubens too:

Re: Moonies Meeting Moonies

Moonies,

Chris Teer (Teerminator) and I met up at the Heart of Texas (HOT) Corvair show at the Hill Country Gallaria in Bee Cave, TX (outside of Austin, TX) today. My wife (Carol) and I drove over and visited with Chris. He was picked last night to be one of the judges for the event - so we didn't have a lot of time to talk - but we enjoyed each others company and had a good time. We got to see Chris' red Corvair convertible. It was fun to be with Chris and hear about his passion - he owns two Corvairs - one for 25 years. Below are some pictures of our time their.

The pictures:
1) Ted Neil & Chris Teer, 2) Carol Neil (Ted's Wife) and her favorite - a purple Corvair, 3) Chris' Corvair - Interior, 4) Chris' Corvair - Engine, and 5) Ted in front of Chris' Red Corvair convertible.

Regards from Texas,
Ted

Now I see the problem... the engine is in the trunk and the lawn chairs under the hood.

For all that - it is still a pretty cool car...

I appreciate Chris sharing his love of the Corvair with us - and inviting us along... and best of all - meeting up with another Moonie...

Regards from Texas,
Ted

I was of the impression that you'd met Chris before.

VAX,

Yes, that is correct - back in summer of '08 (I think). I should have phrased it "meet up again" - thanks for reminding me!!

Ted

VAX - how did you make the images appear? without being links? Just curious. Is there something I am missing (obviously!).

Thanks,
Ted

Notmally, after you "ATTACH" the image, you can go back into the attachment function to "manage" the attachments.

Typically, [ ATTACH ] attachment-ID [ /ATTACH ] will do it. However, I edited your post and it may be that your upload is too large for presentation in the alloted space in the forum. I'll bet one half the size will display.

VAX - thanks - it is a size issue. I appreciate it. Thanks for letting me know.

Excellent show with good company. The set was awesome. Best drum solo I ever saw! (or is that "I can remember?" )

Had a wonderful time hanging out with Jim in while out here in San Diego on biz. Lovely city, lovely weather and great company

Here we are against the setting sun (maybe we watched the hazy sun, sinking in the sea?) .. at a waaaaay posher restaurant than I usually inhabit
