COTM - #424 - Let's Get Pink

What do you do
When you don't want to be blue?

You get Pink!

Greetings and salutation prognafarians.

To keep our musical spirits up this week I visit two classic albums by Pink Floyd. A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and Wish You Were Here.

To set the table, I start with a mood piece by Jimi Hendrex from Electric Ladyland: Moon, Turn The Tides...Gently, Gently. This is in honor of a new release from the Hendrix family of more unreleased tracks. The new album is called Both Sides of the Sky. I just got my copy today and there are some very interesting pieces unlike others released before. I may share some of those at a later date.

Also, between the two albums I have a palette cleanser for you from Anglagard, Höstsejd from their 1996 album Buried Alive. This 14 minute piece has a nice Genesis feel.

I hope you will tune in tonight or sometime this coming week on Monday @ noon or Wednesday @ 5:00am (e.s.t.).

Enjoy

d

Certainly. It was too late to add to Friday's show, but I'll play some soon.

Thank you Mario.

It is hard to find your worldwide audience is not quite as broad as you thought. Most prog bands can't afford a decent marketing campaign to support tours.
