New Moon On Monday show details

First off, sorry to all about me jumping right in with my previous thread. Not enough basic info there.

1. show name: New Moon On Monday First show Monday August 2
2. The show will air 9 pm est on Mondays, repeat at 1 pm est on the following Wednesday.
3. the show will feature New (2010 releases) albums only. Albums progdirjim has added to the library. I will mix the genres the best I can. No live albums
4. The host is me, TheFish. I will be responsible for the content. No foul language or dirty pictures.
5. show Length 1 hour 30 min.
6. I will in general give 15 min to each band. I'll keep my yapping to a minimum. So 6 bands a show. This I hope not to vary much.

Now the finer points.

This is a biggie.

7. Another thing is the New Music poll. I will be encouraging all moonies to jot down the artists names and if you really liked them, do some further exploring through the request feature of the moon website.
Then at the end of the year we hopefully will have a much more informed (and larger) group of voters for the poll. The more the merrier.

The poll has a forum post by Wojtek and has details there. The poll closes on Christmas. I encourage you to view the details there.

8. Moonie participation. I will post the up-coming show in the same manner OverHillAndDale does.

9a. As stated in the first (and prolly confusing thread) I would like to hear from you folks if you have some tidbit of info about the bands. Maybe you saw them live, know of some connection with one of the more well known bands etc. I will research as much as I can but already I've found a band that has a poor web presence. Help is good! I will quote all moonie help. and give a hearty thank you in the commentary.

I'm pretty sure that's it. any additional information will be in seperate threads archived in a forum for the show.

I want to thank Jim for trusting me with the resonsibility and I won't let him down.

A huge Thank you Vaxman for allowing me to be involved in the technical aspects and program the show.

And to my mentor:

My friend OverHillAndDale for for his excellent tutoring on how to be nice to SAM. (she's not so bad once you get to know her) I got more to learn!

also to the rest of the staff who I will most probably need assistance from in the future.

Great that this show comes. It will be a bummer, I am sure. I am sorry, that I will not have the possibility to hear it, as the timing is not in the time I am normally online..
