Best of 2015, so far

The Tangent - A Spark In The Aether - The Music That Died Alone: Volume Two

Now this is what prog should sound like. What a fun album. Musically, lyrically a 10+
Hats off to Andy and the boys.

Echolyn - I Heard You Listening

This CD just surpassed my previous best of 2015 so far, which was The Tangent (now #2). I have been waiting for this since their last release in 2012 which I consider a modern masterpiece. They did not dissapoint. Though not quite as strong as the last one (IMO) but still strong enough to make #1 so far this year. Echolyn is essential in anyone's collection. I love this band.

Boy was I wrong. After several listenings (okay, many), I have realized that this cd is as strong if not stronger than their 2012 release. Two modern masterpieces in one decade, WOW!
