In the advanced editor, you should see a "paperclip" along the top row of edit icons. Move your pointer along and you should see the "tooltip" popup that will read: Attachements. This is the feature you want. Clicking on this should give you a popup window titled: Manage Attachements. You can browse your computer for image files to upload or you can provide a URL to a file served by another system. When you have selected your image, click on the upload button. Ignore the message: "Thumbnail creation failed due to your image library not having support for this image type." In a box in this window, you should see a link to the file you've uploaded to the AM server. You can click on the link to see it. Now, close the window and click on the "paperclip" again. You should see your image listed in a small popup box. Click on the image name to add it to your forum post. Here's an example:
Name: Dark-Side-of-the-Moon.jpg
Views: 115
Size: 23.7 KB
In the editor, you will see: [ ATTACH ] < number > [ /ATTACH ] The number is a value which the server has associated to your image. Use the preview post to see how your uploaded image will appear.
