The Great Album Cover Hunt!

In the effort to get the album covers into the tags for all the songs, R.L and I have a system. I find the covers, size them, and upload them. He does all the technical stuff to get them added correctly. However, some covers are just DANG hard to find. Any album I have listed in this thread already been through www.allmusic.com, www.progarchives.com, and www.progreviews.com, as well as a few different googles. If you know where to find these covers, please post a link here. If you can scan the missing cover, that'd be great too. They MUST be .jpeg, not .gif. Thanks.

If you see a song play without a cover, there's no need to post here saying "album x has no cover." We'll get there. But help finding these difficult ones is much appreciated.

Anyone?

If you know where to find these covers online or can get a good scan, we'd appreciate it.

which I assume you had checked. but I can't find an album "Treffer"?

Yeah, I've checked everywhere. It seems the only people who've ever heard of the album 'Treffer" is AM.

I'm assuming its a non-official release. Here is Blue Flux's discography and it is not on the list. Some of the songs are on different albums but not all of them. http://www.blueflux.com/bfdiscs.htm#top

This website posts a review of the album, but it's in German and has no pic of the cover. http://www.progressive-newsletter.de/index.htm

Maybe you could send the band an email and they could provide you with a pic. Worth a try.

Thanks for the effort rogor and T8R. I've been down both of those alleys and their both dead ends. emailing the band is a good idea though...

And finally...

This one may be harder to pin down, but a French web site clearly associated this image with the album "Portraits (plural) de famille"
FWIW, the actual image is not square, but here's the link where I found it:
http://fr.audiofanzine.com/membres/i...re,100905.html

and heeeeere's the image!

Great work Fremder! Sweet. Sweet, and Sweet, except that they are .gifs and they have to be .jpgs. Anyone got some converting ability? If so, save these three, convert to .jpg, and then add them again. Thanks.

Whupp..... Actually, they were JPGs, but the first one wouldn't upload. The board claimed if wasn't in a valid format, so I converted them to GIFs... ..... just to be safe. Now I know not to be so "clever"...

I'll convert them BACK and stow them here again... Here comes the first one...

I have to read the forums more often.

The Treffer album I got as a DAM from the old MP3.com - fully legal. I have the cover, so I guess I could have scanned it.

In the future, Spaz, I can easily convert from .gif to .jpg, so just send the .gif to me in an e-mail and I'll send the .jpg back.
