"The Snow Goose"

The venue took place in the Christus-Church in Bochum, aprox 35 km from my home. The church has an aprox capacity of 600 to 700 ppl and it was sold out. We had excellent seats in first row on the balcony, 20 min away from the stage

The line up was: Andy Latimer (guitar etc), Colin Bass (Bass), Dennis Clement (drums, bass), Guy Leblanc (keyboards no 1), Jason Hart (keyboard no 2)

Lights went off on 8:00 pm sharp and shortly after the band appeared. First part was The Snow Goose without any visualization (movie) of the story, just the music. It was just great!. After a 15 min. break they played tunes from different „decades“, including A tune in A Tune, Fox Hill etc. They concluded the setlist with „For Today“ from A Nod And A Wink, for me one of the most beautiful tunes ever. (With Mailo's help, the setlist from Limburg: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/camel/...-73c7669d.html It looks identical to what we heard in Bochum)

The only encore was a medley with elder known tunes...Rock'n Roll pure!...

The gig, including the 15 min break lasted 2 hours 45 min. We had such a great time, Andy and all the guys enjoyed being on the stage. I could tell still about the great music, the genius musicians (all of them!!!) etc etc, but just this: Time passed by too fast. This gig is within my top events ever seen!
The light at the end of the tunnel is the light of an oncomming train......
