Himalia's gigs in France

So bad we can't request Himalia any more on Aural Moon.
Why?

A chance to hear their music live in France next months :

27 janvier 2008 (17 h) à Sens (89) - Théâtre municipal - dans le cadre du festival de Jazz

14 Décembre 2007 (20 h 30) à Angers (49) dans le cadre du festival "Jazz en Scène"

I see that Vax had a look on requester and number of requests.

Thank you Vax!

So Lotus, what did you mean about the look on requesters by Vax?

Kalpas, we have this Himalia CD for 6 month on the moon, and since then it was requested min once a day by an anonymous requester. Although it is good fusion, after some month I (and at least Mossy too) really could not hear it anymore. So I asked Vax have a look on the requests and requesters of this particular CD, and appearantly somebody requested it many, many times (this is my asumption). This might be the reason that Vax took it out from requests.

If this is correct (mainly one or two requester only for this CD), these should buy the CD!

Although, now, from time to time SAM picks it up, which is fine, but the daily requested play of one or two songs out of 8 (I think) has finished.

Maybe Vax can answer to this thread too..

Re: Himalia's gigs in France

Since my name was mentioned, I should probably say something here. I have nothing against Himalia's music, in fact I enjoy it, and would probably go and see them if they performed in my area.

But with a catalog of only a few songs, to have those songs played once or twice a day, over the course of time it gets to be too much. In this case overload might work against the music.

As lotus said, it's nice to hear them now when SAM picks them.

Nothing personal, kalpas. Anything that is over requested is subject to being pulled and we've gone through this with other material in the past, it's not just Himalia. I would RQ a certain album's songs every day if I could, but I try and keep it to the same play regularity as any other material, because I don't want people rolling their eyes when it comes on.

Hopefully Himalia will get added back in at some point. Let's hope so.
