COTM - #229 - Larry Coryell and Tomas Bodin

Greetings Prog Fans.

This week we look at the early work of Larry Coryell and Tomas Bodin.

A live box set from Larry Coryell was recently released with live recordings from 1972, 1976 and 2002. I will be playing one of his early breakout albums entitled Spaces. It was released in 1970.

Tomas Bodin just released She Belongs to Another Tree. You know, of course, Bodin is the keyboardist for Flower Kings. His solo work is quite different from the sound of Flower Kings. He release his first solo album in 1996. It is entitled An Ordinary Night In My Ordinary Life and that will be my 2nd feature for the show.

I hope you can come by and listen in.

See you on the Radio.

Hi Dale,

What is playing in the background when you announced the "bonus" tracks from the Coryell LP?

Thanks.

That shorter track is actually just a different part of the song I usually use, which is San Pedro by Ozric Tentecles from The Yumyum Tree album.

Wow, someone actually listens.

Thanks Dale, it sounds like Ozric Tentacles indeed.
