RIP Sherman Hemsley

Yeah, it's old news since he passed away early in the week but I thought I would mention it anyway since it hasn't been mentioned on here before and also because he was an acknowledged big time prog fan. In particular he was a fan of Gentle Giant, Yes, Nektar and Gong but probably a lot of other stuff too. The larger world who are not necessarily prog fans will of course always remember him as George Jefferson from the tv sitcom the Jeffersons.

Re: RIP Sherman Hemsley

A probably unknown fact about this man. I read in an article that Mr. Hemsley was a big fan of prog and Yes in particular. He said he didn't miss a tour in the 70's.

Imagine him in the makeup chair passing the time listening to Close To The Edge!

PROG ON Sherman!
