Howdee Moonies :)

I just wanted to update everyone on why I haven't been around much. I miss all of you and hope all is well in your life.

Anyway, my daughter's family(husband and 2 sons) have been living with us the past few months. They were just getting back on their feet and getting ready to move out on their own when my son in law was killed in a freak car accident while at work 3 weeks ago. I am glad that they hadn't moved out yet and that my wife and I are able to help my daughter with her two fabulous sons.

I just wanted everyone to know that we are doing very well and will be ok during this unfortunate turn of events. I can't tell you how touched I've been from the Aural Moon community, my Corvair community and friends and family who have reached out and let us know how much we mean to them. I have been touched by so many friends it has been a blessing.

The other reason I haven't been around much is my work situation which has been undesirable the last 2 years, but changes in personnel at work recently have given me hope that all is not lost. I have come on a few times in the evening instead of my usual early morning time. With helping with the grandchildren right now I just can't log on in the morning. It's been filled with 'Thomas and Friends' and 'Cars' and 'Mater'

Anyway, we are ok and I will be back soon enough. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers

Re: Howdee Moonies :)

Hi T,

I was shocked when I got to know about this cruel accident, which took irrecoverably away a father from his kids, a husband from his wife and a son from the parents.

It is good to read, that you and your beloved are looking ahead in order to find a "normal" life again.

I wish you, your wife, daughter and grandkids all the strength to come over this enormous loss.

I can only imagine how hard this is for you all. Having recently lost my father you truly have my sympathy. Its different for us because we had seen it coming. To have someone taken suddenly... Well words fail me.

Re: Howdee Moonies :)

Tee,

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for the update. I appreciate you going the extra mile for your daughter and her sons. It warms my heart and in a sad time gladdens me in unspeakable ways. I am sorry for your loss.

Look forward to your return to AM when you can and may God richly bless you and yours through this time.

Thinking of you all.

Regards from Texas,
Ted
