Feb 18th show - Canterbury!

From now on we'll try to announce the theme (if any) of the following week's show, so people can have a better idea of what to expect, as well as give us suggestions on what bands/artists in that theme they'll like us to play!

So, next Wed. (the 18th) we'll have an all Canterbury show!

If you're not all familiar with the Canterbury genre, have a look at this incredible website: http://perso.club-internet.fr/calyx/, but basically we're talking Caravan, Soft Machine, Egg, Khan, and the folks/bands that gravitated around these bands.

We haven't settled on a playlist (just the theme), so your suggestions are always welcome!

Alex.

Okay then... I'll give you a band & a track suggestion. I'll also post from what album it is from.

Gilgamesh-One End More/Phil's Little Dance - for Phil Miller's Trousers/World's of Zin from self-titled album.

Matching Mole-Part of The Dance from Self-titled album

Soft Machine-Teeth from Fourth album

Caravan-For Richard from If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You album

Hugh Hopper-Minipax I from 1984 album

National Health-Dreams Wide Awake From Of Queues & Cures album

Hatfield & The North-Shaving is Boring from self-titled album

Would you like to suggest anymore?
