lotus and I have recently been chatting about this unbelievable Italian group. I first saw them in the 1970s when Photos of Ghosts was released and have loved them ever since.

I was looking through YouTube today and found this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5WwrgC1qZk

It's a recording of Impressioni Di Settembre and, looking at Franco Mussida's hair, a fairly recent recording.

The point I'm trying to make is that it proves that if the quality is there something can last forever. That is certainly true of PFM.

Hope you enjoy it.

Re: Pfm

Thank you for the link...I had this one bookmarked already,...you should compare with this one of the very early 70's

Wink Re: Pfm

I discovered them with their Celebration 45rpm ( minor hit in Belgium around summer of 72 or 73 ?!) and became a real afficionado with the English lyrics issue of L'isola di Niente. They came only once here in Brussel as a Ten Years After opening act ; it was in Brussel in the fall of 1974 I wasn't there . They were amost unknown bt well acclaimed in Brussel, in those times fans of rock were more open minded . I dare to imagine La maschera di cera or Finisterre as a an opener for Dream Theather
