Question Request button inactive?

Can't work this out.
Whenever I try to make a request (even outside of Wednesday) the Request buttons seem to be inactive for clicking.
This is a problem using FF2 (with and without adblock active) and IE8 in a FF window.
Any thoughts?

Re: Request button inactive?

Andrew, occasionally I have that weirdness. I'm using FireFox. It happened with IE too, 7 and 8. I usually just close my browser entirely and reopen and it works. Sometimes I find that the key is the site's not recognizing I'm signed in. Check to see if you are signed it by reloading the homepage and scrolling down on the left side. Outside that, it's a VAX-the-man question.

Hope that helps.

Spaz.

I concur. I use the same fix for that weirdness.

Yeah. I suspect it's a logging-in thing.
I use a saved link to the requests page, and I'm probably not correctly logged in. Will try starting from the homepage next time.

Re: Request button inactive?

and i find this happens when i access request from the new additions list on the home page. i close that window and then choose from the request tab and everything is fine...and if that doesn't work i use the same solution as stated above.

That'll do it...

Log in and click from the [Playlist&Request] tab. There are both "session" issues as well as "security" issues at play. The page will need to see the "referrer" as AuralMoon.com which it will NOT if you click from some bookmarked link. You may get lucky but then there is the issue of the site code trying to find your session key for authentication.
