Aural Moon theme

hello.
don't know if i'm posting in the right area, if i'm not, my apologies.
i was wondering from where did AM select their theme?
as in artist/track.
i'm very fond of that instrumental part.
i googled it, but haven't found any results.

thanks in advance.

Theme? Are you referring to one of the station IDs you may have heard?

There are several IDs on the moon which used excepts from various artists which are featured on the moon. Can you be a bit more specific?

Re: Aural Moon theme

Maybe the reference is to the Amon Duul II excerpt from Wolf City?

Which one is that? Jam's has ADII Jailhouse Frog. I don't recall another ADII being used in a promo/id.

Re: Aural Moon theme

My guess is he's thinking of Hackett's Spectral Mornings from Gagliarchives. I know I used to think it was Auralmoon's theme song, back i when I was new here.

Re: Aural Moon theme

Maybe he means Rush - Xanadu theme. This great jingle has been played for years.

There's also that Nexus tune Metanoia off the Metanoia album that plays behind one of Keithie's station IDs.

I'd wait, as vax says for more specifics. The nickname makes me a bit skeptical...all apologies if legit.

Re: Aural Moon theme

hello. thank you for all the replies; soon after i had posted i remembered that there are a lot of themes and that i wasn't that specific;
didn't have the chance until now to reply.
the part made me think of a woodwind instrument; don't know why.
from what you've said, i think the good candidate would be ADII
