Early Yes clip.

Was sent a link to this clip of Yes performing "Beyond and Before" nearly 40 years ago!!!!!!!

Great harmonies as you'd expect and Bill Bruford is amazing.

Tony Kaye shows what an underrated player he was/is and it's good to see Peter Banks with the band.

Hope you like it.

Re: Early Yes clip.

I found it amusing that Bruford's wearing a t-shirt that says "NO". Heh.

Great Clip. Got Hair?

Here's an interesting series that was on the link. It's a 4 part study of YES in 1971. Quite interesting to hear the band talk.

Thanks Folks. Christmas came early.
Just confirmed what I always thought. Jon's lyrics and voice are used as another set of instruments.

Great.

1969 year is ago of one year of the birth of me. And, I loved prog rock because I kept always listening to various music. And, I reached at last and was enchanted to the image of the magic that keithie had offered. Thank you. I enjoy it.

Re: Early Yes clip.

Great clip, KW.

If you want, there are clips of the new tour on there too. Search for "Yes Present" to get started.

Re: Early Yes clip.

Greetings All! I'm new here. Just stumbled across this spot googling something else but what a nice find! Thanks for sharing YES! -"Yes" is a new 2009 mantra and how fitting to celebrate by listening to some old YES!

Peace!

Re: Early Yes clip.

Oooh, Beyond and Before!
In that period the characteristic of early Yes was beautiful chorus work, not complex and strict tune and sound.

Great clip, thanks Keithie.
