How about adding older Tangerine Dream classics
Tangerine dream classic period album suggestions:
1. "Force Majure" - a must have, their finest album used by many tv networks around the globe especially the title track. 2. "Ricochette"- Edgar Froese uses a guitar live in '75 3. "Logos Live at the Dominion" -Live in England '83. awesome stuff, their best live material since 1977's "Encore" album 4. "Poland" - live in '84... definately a trend here 5. "Rubycon" and "Phaedra"- exploratory headphone music classics

Tangerine Dream
Valhalla,
After reading your post, I was in my local Half Priced Books and found "Force Majeure" used, mint condition for 5 bucks. I would have bought it anyway, but I was looking for it based on your recommendation. Thanks and look for some or all of this to find its way onto The Canvas Prog Hour! |

Force Majeure
That Tangerine Dream album [Force Majeure]was hard to pry from my turntable when it came out. Then came CDs... aaahhh.
I'm glad you have taken the plunge... Happy Listening, I hope you like it. Use your headphones for best results Valhalla

TD classics
I actually like "Green Desert" as well. I think this was recorded in the Rubycon Days but wasn't released for a number of years. The Title track has some amazing percussion sounds to it. Definitely not the thing to listen to with a hang over!!!

Green Desert
Keith,
You are right the Green Desert album was long lost and thought to not exist anymore until its discovery in the late 80's Valhalla
