Jon Davison's debut / Auckland NZ Yes show

Reviews, pictures, audio clip.

Chris' mic is up too high the first half, but they sort it.

I think "other Jon's" going to work out.

The performance was sluggish, slow, plodding. They don't play with zest anymore, and it makes me sad. Rush still zips, but Yes seems to have lost their vitality.

Agree Spaz. If I would cast blame I would say Alan White is the one at fault. However, his album last year with Torn and Levin was ripping.

Such a poor recording. The usual 'tired' sounding Yes. I couldn't listen to the whole thing. Too depressingly disappointing.

100% in agreement. Will I pass on the next time they come through here? I have said that before and went. I can't seem to give up.
