Finch is Enka!

Happily, I'd get two Finch's albums ("Glory Of The Inner Force" and "Beyond Expression") currently unavailable now.
These albums are truly "beyond expression" and make me hold to the turntable everyday.

Hmm...the albums let me know the characteristic of Finch's sound.
Finch's sound is suitable for me Japanese. Why?
Because the sound might be like Japanese Folk (Country?) Sound, aka "ENKA".
Actually, they (especially, the songs of "Beyond Expression") have Japanese Sound known as KOBUSHI.

I'm talkin' turkey.
Thanks.

Thank you, muse.

It is difficult for me to express more details of KOBUSHI.
But I think maybe almost all of Finch fans are feeling this from the sound.

In any case, we love Finch.

Gobble gobble!

The live CD/outtakes from Galleons of Passion is excellent. I got it not too expensive from Synphonic.

Finch always was a college favorite. And the drummer's name was Beer!

here's a young pop band named Finch that tourd the area. Everytime I see them they are playing I do a double-take. Alas, not the same band

Thanks Rick.
I was chuckled the drummer's name is BEER Klaasse.
Indeed, his drumming is rigid and perfect, as Dutch beer.

Poda, I'm proud of Japanese prog. Thank you.
But...Enka is not prog but pop-muzik.

Re: Finch is Enka!

This must be yet another Finch, definitely not Japanese,
way too young to be Rick's college band-

These guys do have a Proggish/pop thing going.

Ohhh, I've watched the video.
Sounds good.
I like college rock sound, too.

But "this" Finch is not ENKA.

Re: Finch is Enka!

Re: Finch is Enka!

Yea, thanks kazuhiro for your interesting comment.
Uh...maybe on this thread almost all of Moonies can't read Japanese, so I try to translate it into English.

I agree. Maybe lots of European serve much of their sentimental feeling for us Japanese.
Of all the Eurorock, I'm sure Finch has the mind most suitable for Japanese.

It's overexpression, isn't it?

Re: Finch is Enka!

I can get "Galleons Of Passion". It's absolutely excellent, Rick!
I'm sure Finch has the feelin' of ENKA.
