Sad News for Emerson, Lake & Palmer Fans.

This has been taken from Tony Ortiz's myspace, he is the official archivist for ELP.

"Well as some of you may have heard, Keith is having trouble with his right hand due to focal hand dystonia and has had to cancel his European and US tours and also the US ELP tour, But fear not, as he is getting treatment and therapy at this moment,, it's not like he can't play at all,, he still plays brilliantly on less demanding pieces. Perhaps, he may even start writing his Piano Concerto No.2! So, he’s not down for the count, I feel he should be back to normal soon."

Personally, I am extremely taken aback and sad about this news but can only be hopeful he recovers like he has done previously. Thus allowing ELP to tour for their 40th anniversary, or so we hope. Keep Keith in your prayers everyone and hope the treatment required is successful.

Yours truely,

Progressive Paul
