Looking for moody spacey progg music

My wish is for something maybe a bit dark. Slow and moody. And not repetetive. With spacey and melodious synths.

Ayreon is allready well known to me.

Thank you.

Try this!

I have a couple of CDs by two guys who go under the name 'Von Daniken'.
1) New worlds AND:
2) Transient.

The two guys in question are Chris McMahon and Warren Jaques. They were both involved with the 80s Prog groups Haze and World Turtle but released these albums as a "side line".

I think they fit the bill perfectly.

To find out more visit:

http://www.norrow.demon.co.uk/turtle/ or

http://www.norrow.demon.co.uk/vondaniken/index.html

There are audio downloads to listen to and get a feel for what they're like.

Hope you enjoy them.

Kevin Keller

I have a nice cd that comes close to fitting the bill. Kevin Keller's "Intermezzo". Very spacey, but it may lack the melodious flow throughout that your looking for. Worth looking into though. A good source for this type music is:

www.echoes.org

Enjoy :-)
