Renaissance Artifacts Up for Auction

The following announcement came through White Dove Org., Annie Haslem's email network.

If you thought collecting CD's was expensive, take a look at these items.

------------------------------------------------------------------

This is your chance to own your very own piece of
Annie Haslam/ 'Renaissance' History!
If you are a Renaissance or Annie Haslam fan you may be very interested to know that there are several items up for auction at 'Heritage Auction' House, Dallas, Texas.
Included in the three separate lots are:

1. Annie's famed 'GOLD' custom made necklace in 22 carat gold designed by and given to her by Fiance at the time 'Roy Wood'. Annie wore the unique necklace at nearly all the 'live' concerts with the band, and it's the only one in existence.
A copy of the solo 'Annie in Wonderland' LP which has a photo inside of Annie wearing the necklace.
Maracas Annie played at all the shows and in the studio.

2. The famous 'Thea Porter' designed, Turquoise Blue Crepe Chiffon dress made specially for the Carnegie Hall concerts. There was a lot of excitement surrounding this dress as Thea Porter was a very well known designer in the 70's. Annie remembers that her London Soho Boutique was full of vibrant silks, tapestries and velvets like something straight out of a palace where 'Scheherazade' would tell her stories to the Sultan. What makes the dress even more special, is that it is part of the history of the British Fashion Industry from the fabulous and colorful eclectic 70's!
Another point of interest is that there was a specially made dressing room erected at the side of the stage in order for Annie to do her 'Scheherazade' dress change during the 25 minute suite......
A mint condition 'Live' at Carnegie Hall LP signed by Annie.
A rehearsal tambourine.

Signed press photos of Annie wearing the dress.

3. A magnificent Gibson acoustic guitar circa 1963 (called Jupiter) .....hand painted in Acrylics by Annie. In 2002 Annie embarked on her new career into painting, a very exciting unexpected discovery, leading to a commission in 2006 from Martin Guitars to paint one of their 'Dreadnought' acoustic guitars. This is now proudly on display in their museum in Nazareth, PA.
Annie also painted four vintage guitars for the Hard Rock Cafe, they can be seen on display in Cleveland and San Diego.

All items are part of Annie's private collection.
