Just read about him.
Despite his age it was a surprise. Very attentive and thoughtful Mario,thanks...indeed i know Jim Hall too and surely he will be missed by me,by many;he was an outstanding musician and seemed a nice person as well,may he rest in peace.

I had mentioned this in the Shout Box on the day of his passing. I was fortunate enough to have seen Jim Hall perform with Pat Metheny in an intimate setting that was recorded and later put out on cd, recorded at the Manchester Craftsman's Guild in Pittsburgh PA. It was a great concert and his performance along with Pat's was excellent. Another great one gone.
