Zeroesque

Anyone here listen to these guys? They are like, prog fusion/funk/metal and I really, really enjoyed their debut S/T album... it's a little rough sometimes but I love it just the same. They have some awesome grooves, "You Say" especially.

Listened to three tunes

You Say, Feels Like Falling, and Dizzle Tizzle. I also read the reviews and the bios. I always like to hear whole output, but you get what you can.

First of all, can't these reviewers ever say anything other than the typical review-speak? The one review had some good points, then trashed prog in general, thereby losing credibility.

The bio confused me - spent a lot of time stating how much the music differs and is atypical, but it's really just instrumental Planet X Malmsteen chops and riffs. Bear in mind my favorite music is hard rock, and I generally will give those bands a greater chance. But it's the same old thing - it's really hard to make music like this interesting even with good talent - and these guys have talent.

Steve Vai, Gambale, even Mastermind - they use creativity to keep the music fresh. Let's see if the next release does this, because there's potential.
