Angry New server

Is it just me, or has the new server frequently been skipping and cutting out on a daily basis since last weekend? I've experienced unavailability with both the Live365 and Live.Str3am webcasts. Anyone else having the same problems?

It's not the new server - it's the internet connection to the station's stream generator. It's a simple cable modem that is subject to go out at any point - we go through periods of terrible connectivity, and days of perfect connections. I would love to find someone willing to colocate this server at an ISP, so that it would have a good, straight connection to the shoutcast server.

Today, however, I think the station just crashed. It'll be back up soon,

Today's outage was actually cable modem related. According to teh cable company there was a bad node.

Still looking for a colocation offer! :-)

Smile bad nodes...

I know all about the bad nodes. I recently switched my own Qwest DSL connection to an AT&T Cable one. Qwest constantly had bad nodes and routers that would bring our service to a screeching halt. I sympathize completely and wish you good luck.
