A:  The current Aural Moon request rules are as follows:

1. The following are general request rules and apply to all:
   
   
   • The same album cannot be requested within 1440 minutes/24 hours of being queued.
   • The same artist cannot be requested within 180 minutes/3 hours of being queued.
   • The same title cannot be requested within 2880 minutes/48 hours/2 days of being queued.
   • The same track cannot be requested within 2880 minutes/48 hours/2 days of being queued.


2. The following are personal request rules and apply to all:
   
   
   • One (1) request every 60 minutes/1 hour based upon time of last request.
   • Request will be delayed a minimum of 60 minutes/1 hour before queueing.
   • Each requester receives a maximum of 10 requests in a 24 hour/1 day period.
   • The requester cannot request the same artist within a 36 hour/1.5 day period.^{[see footnote]}
     
   • The requester cannot request the same album within a 72 hour/3 day period.^{[see footnote]}

The request feature of Aural Moon is a feature and a privilege granted to the listener by Aural Moon management; it is not a right!!!  These rules are not intended to punish any one person; their intent is to even the playing field and make the request privilege fair to all who use the request feature.  These rules are enforced through the use of software.  Abuse of this feature and or circumventing these restictions will be dealt with by exercising personal restrictions upon the abuser thereof.  Keep this in mind:  there are few, if any, radio stations on the FM/AM airwaves which play music on a listener request driven basis and there are few internet radio stations which provide this opportunity as well.

^[Footnote] These personal restrictions are necessary to keep any one requester from monopolizing another requester's ability to request a given artist or album track.  Based on the general rules, one requester, without these personal restrictions, could request tracks from artist ABC or album XYZ on any given day; thus, prohibiting another requester from placing a request for the same artist or album.  Such monopolization of the request feature causes discontentment amongst fellow requesters;  therefore, its practice is limited by these rules.
