Gildenlow To Miss Transatlantic Shows Transatlantic touring member Daniel Gildenlow will miss a number of shows on the band’s upcoming world tour.

Drummer Mike Portnoy has confirmed that Ted Leonard of Spock’s Beard will stand in until the Pain Of Salvation mainman is able to return.

He explains: “We are saddened to announce that, because of some personal issues that have unfortunately arisen, Daniel will not be able to join us for the first half of the tour.

“Ted will be coming to our rescue as Transatlantic’s 5th touring member. He’ll be standing in until Daniel is able to join back up with us.”

Portnoy hopes Gildenlow will return in time for the Progressive Nation At Sea cruise and the band’s European dates, but says: “Only time will tell. In the meantime, please help us wish Daniel all the best, and welcome Ted aboard!”

Transatlantic – who recently released their first-ever video for Shine, from latest album Kaleidoscope – play London’s forum on March 12 as part of their European tour.
