Heliopolis sign to BEM, announce live album.
Bad Elephant Music is proud to announce a new addition to the lineup: L.A. symphonic prog band Heliopolis!

Founded in Summer 2012, Heliopolis soon achieved widespread critical acclaim with the release of their first album, City of the Sun. Quickly establishing a powerfully progressive style, their sound  was an instant classic, as was made clearer than ever in a coruscating performance at RoSFest 2015 – a performance which is  immortalised in a new live album, Epic at the Majestic: Heliopolis Live at RoSFest.

"All of us are excited to be partnering with Bad Elephant Music for the release of our live album", says bassist Kerry Chicoine. "For a relatively new label with an incredibly diverse and unquestionably talented roster, BEM have forged their own unique path and they're now at the forefront of the progressive rock music scene. We͛re hoping this is the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership."

David Elliott of BEM adds: "I've been a Heliopolis fan since Empire of the Sun. They're true paragons in their field. With such a strong lineup a degree of success was inevitable, but they͛ve really outdone themselves with what they͛ve given us, and I can͛t wait to see what else they have in store for us."

Epic at the Majestic: Heliopolis Live at RoSFest is slated for a Summer 2016 release.
