ProgRock Records - Record Club

"As part of the ProgRock Records Club you will get a brand new, shrink wrapped CD shipped to you on the first of every month from our catalog (possibly even a DVD) for a year, that's 12 items with shipping and handling included for just $75 a year. This is a great way to discover new music that you might not have bought otherwise, and for a very tiny investment per CD. On the off chance that you end up getting a release that you already had, use it as a gift for a friend or family member and turn them on to the joys of Progressive Rock.

The selection will be randomly selected, however 4 times a year it will be a brand new release, they might come in a row, or spread out, but this way you can be sure you'll get some new releases as part of that deal. In addition we will be sending an email out about a week in advance with the title that will be getting shipped with 2 alternates in case you already have the announced title, you can make a substitution.

The price shows $73.50 to account for the automatic $1.50 handling fee that gets added."

Re: ProgRock Records - Record Club

The instrumental and ambient(and music that used to be called "new age") program that I listen to on NPR called Echoes has something similar where you can join their cd of the month club and get their cd of the month each month if you subscribe to it. I'm not sure how much it costs though but it's nice to see a prog equivalent to it.

Re: ProgRock Records - Record Club

Shawn at Progrock Records is a good guy - if you take them up on the offer, tell him you heard about them at Aural Moon. If you want...
