Peter Gabriel's solo efforts

I consider Gabriel's solo efforts *very* progressive, but not necessarily in the sense that we usually use the label. I agree with most people that the first 3 albums slot in best with AM's style of music, but he's done a wonderful job, along with David Byrne and Paul Simon, of incorporating "world music" into Anglo-American music.

But anyone who lets his label subtitle his "hits" album "Sixteen Golden Greats" has issues somewhere.
