Nwo you've done it!

I guess now that I have been named I have to add to this discussion.

I was not too fond of Presto when it came out. I didn't like the sound (I think Geddy was playing that hateful Steinberger bass. Sounds like a farting guitar). I also did not, and still don't, like their prog-pop forays. I am more of the old school Rush fan preferring their epics and instrumentals over the more concise musical and lyrical statements that they currently do. Having said that, Vapour Trails is my favourite CD since Signals I think primarily because they have gone away from prog-pop and more toward hard rock with a rich textural sound and the most interesting bass lines that I have heard in a long time from them.

I would have preferred that Counterparts was added instead of Presto but my complaints, regarding AM, are few and far between.

Now back to my lurking.
