Just heard some dreck and when I looked to see what/who it was , lo and behold , yep, RUSH.

Now *maybe* RUSH has something in thier book that doesn't stink to high heaven, but it doesn't get played. That's a best case scenario.

C'mon guys, you must all think they blow as much as I do, but you're just putting me on. Good joke, ya got me.

OldSod.............Hmmmmmmmm!

You have to be one of the most ridiculous people I've ever had the misfortune to meet.

Not only that you must be one of the saddest as well. Why post all these negative things when Aural moon is one of the most positive places on Earth.

OK....I'll go further. This Old Sod is getting cheesed off with that OldSod and feel he should go the way of the FK over requester.

But that's just my opinion.

I have all seventeen of their studio albums and their studio ep - just for the record.

Then I admire you , obviously not for your musical taste, but your good fortune. You are either very young, travel in a very small circle, or have had extraordinary luck up till now.

Had an idea. Why doesn't someone give me the name of the BEST thing Rush has done. I'll listen to it. Maybe I am only hearing the garbage. Maybe not.

OldSod...I can't stand Rush either, but why use up so much space and time complaining about it.

Frankly, I find your posts amusing in a sort of tabloidish way.

You're obviously enjoying yourself thoroughly.

Ok, OldSod, any five people will have five different "best" Rush albums. That being said, I think no one would disagree with me to suggest you try "Permanent Waves" or "Moving Pictures." If you are looking for, say, ten songs to request to test, I recommend the following ten. While there may be certain favorite tracks here and there not included, these ten are universally admired.

1. La Villa Strangiato
2. Natural Science
3. Show Don't Tell
4. Mystic Rhythm
5. Xanadu
6. Driven
7. Red Barchetta
8. Subdivisions
9. Secret Touch
10. Where's My Thing?

If you request those ten songs on a Monday through Friday two weeks in a row, give them an honest chance, and still don't "get" what we love about them, then Rush isn't for you. That's okay, but give these a shot first before you forevermore write the band off.

Spaz, pulling a r.l with a quote, this being "interested to hear your reply."

Uh, in order for someone to make your point, you have to have a point originally. So far as I can tell, the only point involved in any of your posts sits nicely under your combover.

You know, it's a shame I don't have the time to monitor things as closely as I used to. I'd see when you log in, and queue up a couple of good Rush tunes for your edification.

No need to reply to this, however. I likely won't pay any attention to any dribblings you come up with.

I've got too many other important things to do with my time.

Roger -Dot- Lee, calling it quits on this one.
