If creativeness and inspiration count for anything in rock music and progressive rock, this band was , in my humble opinion, the most creative and most inspired of all time.
They achieved this status with only two studio albums.

And now, 30 years later 'Hatwise Choice' is out to demonstrate that these musicians were in a real state of grace!! The most inventive and daring music since 'Double Negative' by 'The Muffins'.

This is my first entry in this forum and I was very glad to notice that someone mentioned this band.

Hatwise Choice

No, it wasn't me who maintained that web site.

The release of 'Hatwise Choice' made me very interested in this discussion.
It's thanks to this CD that I joined this forum because I'm so enthusiastic about it that I wanted to know what other prog fans thought of this release.

I must say I thought that archival releases such as this brought more people together into discussion in a forum like this.

Yes I'm a National Health fan as well.

Thank you for your welcome!!

Well Collapso - With Hatfield and National Health comes Gilgamesh and Egg - all playing great music - Oh I've just remembered I have a record with the Danish band Drops from the early seventies who were in the same vein. I must remember to get it ripped.

By the way I discovered that Mont Campbell (National Health, Egg) has released a solo CD 3 years ago produced by Dave Stewart . Mont has become an expert in third world instruments like Gabriel. Great music.

Gabriel WITH strings attached? Now that would be hard to play.
