GR show May 4, 2005 - The Reagan Years (Vinyl Edition)

This week on Gnosis Radio our senior music correspondent,
Dirk Evans, will explore the musical clime engendered by
the fiscal, economic, & foreign policies of Ronald Reagan's
Administration from 1981-1989.

Because Gnosis Radio endeavors to bring you the best in
non-commercial broadcasting, this week's show will focus
solely on those works which have never seen a CD release.

Among the many topics covered will be the Trickle-down
Theory and its implications for large scale improvisation.
We'll also take a peak at its sardonic namesake Voodoo
Economics and its effect on the rise of Zydeco music in
New Orleans.

We hope that you will tune in for this unique expose
depicting the confluence of music and politics in this
historical era.

I'm Jim Lehrer. Thank you, and good evening.

Wednesday evening May 4, 2005 at 8 PM EST, 7 PM CST, 5 PM PST
