Interzone - June 7, 2005: Jazz-Rock IV
Hello.....
This week I’ll be featuring another three hours of jazz-rock fusion. Is it jazz? Is it rock? Who knows? Who cares? Interzone is all about playing the various shades of gray. It used to be easy to identify jazz-fusion back when a few bands were emerging to the forefront of the movement. But after 35 years, it has become an entire class of music and to simply call it jazz, or rock, or prog just doesn't do it justice. So as time goes on, I'll be exploring this broad continuum. Please join me Interzone premieres each Tuesday evening from 8pm to 11pm eastern time and replays Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-5pm. - Cozy PS - Playlist to come

great!!! I will be listening.
By the way, one thing that was great with the Passport-Giant-Tyner program was that you told us about in what period these bands/artists were hot. Like you said Tyner through 77 and Passport through 77. That was great, because it's always hard to know what to check out and what to avoid. Thanks Pontus

Thanks...
Thanks for the feedback, Pontus. It helps when I what people are getting out of the show and why. Your comment is appreciated and I'll endeavor to throw a little more opinion about discographies on a regular basis.
