welcome to rob

I would like to welcome Rob Matheson to the forums. Having watched his valiant attempts to enter white yesterday, I think he'll fit right in.

Better luck with white next time you visit, Rob. Also Maui, who appears to have the same problem.

Wish I were more techie (but sort of happy I'm not )

Talking Thanks!

What a nice welcome. I've always been a little bit of a geek (just a wee bit!) but this chat thingy's got me stumped. I've unblocked pop-ups, cookies, my nose and the drains but still can't get back into it 'cos it says I'm already there (wow man! - had a flashback!)

Anyway - Aural Moon's fantastic and the streaming is wonderful. I'm going to have to upgrade my connection if it stays as good as this!

Looking forward to chatting to you all...eventually!

Rob

Ooops

Again - thanks for the welcome. I'll try to find an avatar which doesn't clash!

Wellcome to the Moon, Rob, I hope you enjoy this prog community, spread all over the world (I think with the exeption of the continent of Africa).

BTW, don't care about Spaz comment of the avatar, he just expresses his own, personal opinion, which is as important as everybodys opinion.

If you like that avatar, keep it. I like it and I do not asociate it with other ppl, as I look at the name.

I'll share, Rob

For what it's worth...do agree with Spaz generally on the name/pic association thing. Cept Spaz changes his avatar regularly so no joy there.

btw, your flashback comment cracked me up. Not much can do that first thing in the am before the old caffeine fix.

Thumbs up Hope this avatar's ok

Glad I made you laugh mossy. Far from laughing before the caffeine I don't usually laugh before the weekend - especially if I do early shifts!

I don't mind changing the avatar. As the new kid on the block (now THERE was a band....not) I shall bow to the longevity of existing members.

Seriously - if the replacement annoys anyone - please let me know.

Best wishes,

Rob

Notice the big smiley face at the end of my post

BTW, rob, don't care about lotus comment of the Spaz comment; you've got a kicking original avatar there!!!

Ah, but I always change it to something that definitely says, "Yep, that's Spaz."

The choice of avatar didn't annoy me - in fact, nothing about your choice annoyed me at all - I just remember a very frustrating thread a few years back when three members were chatting 'bout something, and two of them had the exact same pic of Frank Zappa as their avatar. I couldn't tell what the crap was being said!

welcome rob

and now that we have a secondary discussion...that literally IS Yesspaz sharc...but i liked the most of his avatars they still seem very "spaz" to me...and i chance mine ever so often—staying in the roxy cover pose theme.

have a great time here rob...you are among friends.
