Yes. The threw $100 bills at me.

I used it to purchased DVDs so I could give pix to CV and I then treated all to dinner at the Bigg Daddy's Ribs next door that eve. You were at the table as was OceanVIC, his wife Janet and his friend Matt. You and Matt talked about GG. The funniest thing was how you went on about how much Marillion sucked while Pete T. was standing right behind you. The look on Pete's face was ... well, like the mastercard commercials say: priceless.

hmmmmm

I do remember being fascinated over Pete's shoes, but I'm certain I wasn't going on like that. Matt and I (and Vic and Janet, yeh metalheads! when I could shout across the table) had a good conversation about music, it was fun.

Most likely, I was probably being baited into my non-preference of "recent" Marillion. I stand by that stance but would never embarass anyone...I seem to recall Martha's bemusement over your asking me about that.

I'm surprised you didn't ruin that beautiful laptop...I've never seen anyone try to eat and downlaod pictures...

I find it's easier to listen to the music instead of regurgitating the doggerel of the media.

I was trying to figure out what you meant in the context of what I said..then I realized my sentence was missing a verb. It should have read:

"I was being baited into TALKING about my non-preference for recent Marillion."

That means I was asked about it in front of Pete.

On a related note....

I own Brave + Seasons End + another (I'm at work, forget the name). And I've heard the rest. I like a few tunes like "Dry Land", and like Seasons End.

Since there's no media I know that talk about prog, that's not a concern. And almost all progsters that I know like it, so that's not a concern either.

So I guess I agree with your statement.
