Trans Siberian Orchestra

What about them? Prog or not? AM or not?

Prog enough. Aural Moon worthy. Coincidentally, I just picked up "Beethoven's Last Night" by them. It's pretty good - a little, shall we say, emotive in spots, but some nice music overall. Look for it in the next update (which I don't know when that will be as we're in the process of migrating to the new server.)

I find myself shying away from the Christmas discs, as it seems funny to me to hear that in say July.

I'm with you on that one. That's why I don't have any TSO. I really want them to do something bold, like tackle a huge work. Imagine them doing the entire Planets suite by Holst.

OK, that's amazing. I found myself thinking that it must have been doctored using photoshop, when I realized that even THAT would have been a phenomenal effort. I think it was done using a series of still photos, but regardless, as the comments below the video say, someone has a LOT of free time...

Re: Trans Siberian Orchestra

actually, they say it was done using midi (or some similar idea), and a light program setup.
