Tue shows

Any chance we can shift either Gaglia or Fusion Reactor to another time slot? With 6 hours of shows on Tuesday and req free Wednesday, there's little chance of getting in reqs for 2 days during the day.

I think Goo has a valid point... And he's not alone. I'm open to a change, if Gags can't move for some reason, move me to a more convenient time.

Let's move Fusion Reactor to Wednesday for the next show repeat and see how that goes.

Re: Tue shows

why can't we move the gags replay to Sunday? That appeals to my anal retentive sense of replays being the day after the original show. Gags was replayed on Tuesday when we didn't have a Monday show...

I like Gags show on Tuesday. Saturday nights, when I'm not up late handling the retransmission or Gags, I'm usually at some gig so I don't get to listen. Sunday's are hectic and not a good time to listen. Tuesday is usually a nice, quiet, no kids at home, work day and I can enjoy the show.

In the same fashion you have quiet time on Tuesdays, everyone else has work. I never get to listen as it's constructed now.

My feeling is whatever is best for everyone is best for the station.

I had all kinds of ideas about the replay for my show, and it never satisfied everyone. So finally I picked a time and those who can adjust, will. For instance the Sunday PM is difficult for some to hear but best for others.

It's clear the Tuesday programming is too much.

Re: Tue shows

sounds like (pun intended) wed for fusion is a good pic...we can be serenaded by moses and SAM and no one would be waiting for request fulfillment.

Being the new kid on the block, FR should make the move IMHO.

Fine, pick on the short, bald, new guy!

Still doesn't matter to me... Although if I move, 2:00pm is better for me than 3:00pm.

'Twasn't personal Moses... You're short *and* bald?

Gags has had that slot for some time and Tom does advertise that replay slot on his show.

Re: Tue shows

I was wondering about that myownself when I noticed that, last week, we had Gags, one tune, and FR. I'm all for FR moving to Wednesdays. I'd like to keep Gags on Tuesdays if possible. If the time is open, then by all means go for it.

Like I said, Wednesday's fine with me if it works for everyone else, although I can see Jim's point about the "day after" replay.

(Rick - I said replay, not pill.) :-)

Re: Tue shows

YO.......HELLO!?!?!?.........OVER HERE?!?!?

Won't it seem a little odd to have The Fusion Reactor playing at the exact same time as the Interzone replay?

Also, the schedule lists Interzone premiering on Tuesday at 21:00 and it should be 20:00.

o_O

oops. uh...sorry, Cozy.

We REALLY need to get an updated list of who's shows are on from when to when to see when we REALLY have slots available.

I know... Let's have SAM pick some random time and have my replay happen at a different time and day every week!

Just kidding... Tell you what, I moved it (for today) to 1000 so it will be over at 1200 and ok for Cozy's replay at 1400! Once we have a more permanent solution, let me know!

Re: Tue shows - My idea

After some thought, here is my opinion:

1) Move RF Wed to Friday. Slot the Reactor in on Wed, say 10-12 EST since that's what it is today.

Here is what the schedule then would look like (all times EST):

mon RS 1-4, FR 9-11
tues G 11-3 IZ 9-12
wed FR 10-12 IZ 2-5
th ps 9-11
fri ps 3-5 (rest of day request free)
sat G 10-2
sun RS 8-11

OR

2) If Wednesday now becomes burdensome (same issue as Tues is now), move the Interzone replay to Thursday.

OR

3)Failing all of that, could Moses do a Thurs PM run simultaneously with Prog Positivity and a Friday replay? All we do then is move Progressive Shores.

In theory that should be easy - I know AM's SAM should be able to handle that. I haven't played with the feature much though. I don't want to kick TOIB out of his established slot though unless we really think it's necessary.

What's wrong with my show being on RF Wednesday? I tend to play songs no one would request most of the time anyway.

I kinda liked the morning time slot - it got me all ready for lunch. What did everyone else think of the timing?
