Claro Que Si

Have you chaps ever heard the Yello album, Claro Que Si? Man! I pulled this out this weekend. It stands up to much of the prog criteria.
Recommended cuts:
Ballet Mecanique
Ouad el Habib

Another album that re-blew my mind, and expectations, was Simple Minds' Empires and Dance. Very experimental for that time period.

Recommended cuts:
Constantinople Line
Today I Died Again
This Fear of Gods

Last recommendation for the playlist, My New Career by Japan! My all time favorite!

Yello? Really? I don't have any of their stuff, but I remember them as kind of a techno outfit, with some Latin influences maybe. Never thought of them as prog.
I love old SImple Minds, but that album (to me) kind of crosses the line between punk and new-wave - like Duran Duran, but much better. I'll have to pull out Reel to Real Cacophony - I remember that as being pretty interesting.
Japan, OK, we probably should add some of that. The albums tend to be a bit hard to find, but I want some for myself anyway. I'll get working on it...
