Re: Show 125 - Porcupine Tree part one
Looking forward to it, Rick!
I love their early stuff. I remember buying On the Sunday of Life in 92, and was blown away. Been a fan ever since. Just heard previews of their latest on their myspace page....looking forward to being blown away yet again!

Re: Show 125 - Porcupine Tree part one
Here's the playlist for this week - we'll be hearing selections from the Porcupine Tree catalogue from "On the Sunday of Life" through "Lightbulb Sun", with a few live cuts thrown in.
When "Fear of A Blank Planet" is released, I will put together a show with that entire CD + all of "In Abstentia" + cuts from "Deadwing". If I can pull together the shows, there are some fun ideas, including a play of the Bearded Project's CD sometime in May. I'll be picking up the new Magic Pie and some other discs to play too. Just the song list, no embellishments....I'm extremely swamped for a few weeks. On the Sunday of Life - Footprints, Nine Cats Up The Downstair - Always Never, Burning Sky The Sky Moves Sideways - Stars Die, Moonloop, Dislocated Day Signify - Signify, Waiting phase one, Dark Matter, Neural Rust (demo) Stupid Dream - Even Less, Piano Lessons, Pure Narcotic, Slave Called Shiver, Don't Hate Me, Stranger By The Minute Lightbulb Sun - Lightbulb Sun, Shesmovedon, Last Chance To Save Planet Earth Before It Is Recycled, Hatesong XM II (2005) - Fadeaway, Russia On Ice Coma Divine (Live In Rome) - The Sky Moves Sideways, Radioactive Toy Hey Mr. Wilson! ![]() |
