Hmm no piano and no acoustic guitar...hardly a sum (although my fave ELP track).....

then i thought Karn Evil 9 maybe...still no lake guitar...

speaking of Tarkus, that may be one of the more lifted pieces of music in prog..you'll hear elements of Tarkus in a lot of songs....

You make some great points - then what about "From the Beginning" by ELP or "Take a Pebble" - they have both of the elements you mentioned....
