Absoutley nothing. The men in black would just say, "Well if you can do without internet radio for one day then you can do without it in the other 364 days........"

Just like in any protest, some people will say "what will that accomplish"? What does it cost to try? The huge internet radio stations have shut down for the day, like Live365 and Pandora. I don't see why all prog stations don't shut down. Will we lose too much money???

We don't get any money. That's what makes the whole internet fee thing so maddening. I was talking to Avian this past weekend and worst-case scenario we'll play independents.

I've said before, this is not my fight. it's the artists. They've already begun to coalesce and some even have waivers to let the stations play music.

All I mean is that in this situation it would accomplish nothing. Live365 has a different agenda. And all it would do would be to get us in the news for a day.

jt's point about 'doing without" is excellent. didn't think of that...
